Do we seriously not have to hike to elope in Colorado?

Seriously. Most locations are a short walk from parking. If you want to do an easy hike, great. If you want to do a hard hike, there are photographers for that too — but that's not what Kimberly specializes in.

Can we bring guests or our dog to our Colorado elopement?

Yes to both. Small groups of your favorite people are welcome, and dogs are strongly encouraged. Most National Forest locations in Colorado are dog friendly, and your dog can even sign your marriage license as a legal witness in most counties.

Is eloping in Colorado legal without an officiant?

Yes. Colorado allows self-solemnization, meaning you and your partner can legally marry each other without an officiant or witnesses. You get your marriage license from the county clerk, say your vows, sign the license together, and return it within 63 days. That's it.

When should we book our Colorado elopement photographer?

For peak season (June through October), 6-12 months in advance is ideal. Popular dates and locations book out quickly. If you have a specific date or location in mind, the earlier the better. Reach out even if your date feels far away.

How much does a Colorado elopement cost?
