Estes Park Colorado Skyview Wedding with J + E

I feel so so so lucky to have been a part of these twos wedding this past summer at Fall River Village in Estes Park, Colorado! J was actually my best friends roommate in college, and when he moved out to Colorado, we obviously bonded over having the same college friends and hanging in the same circle but never actually talking. Ha! I still remember when J first told me about E, how he had moved into a house and how immediately he fell for their friend E - fast forward a few years later and these two tied the knot amongst their closest friends and family during one hell of a year.

J and E’s venue, Skyview at Fall River Village, was the backdrop for their ceremony - while Lily Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park was the perfect spot for their wedding party photos and some romantics!

I asked J and E if there were any “must have” photos they wanted, or anything untraditional they wanted captured - and E mentioned how much she loved that they brush their teeth together every night. So heck yes we ran away to their suite afterwards to get some photos of them brushing their teeth at the end of the night!

Kimberly Crist

Hi, I'm Kimberly 👋

Colorado elopement photographer, snack enthusiast, and your personal hype woman for ditching the traditional wedding entirely.

I spend most of my time wandering dirt roads around Crested Butte, the San Juans, and Denver finding the kind of spots that make you forget what stress even feels like. You know — the ones with the views that hit different at sunrise, where the wildflowers are doing too much, and the only witnesses are a couple of marmots and your dog in a tiny bandana.

If you're dreaming of vows somewhere wildly beautiful with zero seating charts involved, hi. That's literally what I do. You bring the love story. I'll bring the camera, the location ideas, and enough snacks to get us through golden hour.
