Grand Junction Engagement Photos

You know when a client emails you during a pandemic for engagement photos that love is thriving in these times - and thats exactly what we captured between D and R!

These engagement photos shot in Grand Junction are the perfect example of how I strive to capture my couples and the natural connection between you!

D had mentioned that she loved the backlit sunflare warm goodness that I absolutely LOVE so HI DREAM PHOTOSHOOT. I sent over my location guide for Grand Junction but I really felt like this location was IT. It has views of the entire valley, and when you get a cloudless sunset, it is an actual dream for sunflare.

So we drove twenty minutes up a pothole filled dirt road, dodged desert cactus and ran around the backroads by the Bookcliffs - all a reminder of how nice it is just to be in the presence of people and love after being in quarantine for three months.

And we can’t forget the flat tire we walked back to after the session (no worries, we have a patch kit and a compressor!). It was definitely an experience, and such a memorable one as we all work our way into and figure out this new normal.

If you love running around in wide empty spaces, dancing with your favorite human to some fun music, and making goofy faces at the camera - get in touch and book with me now!

2020 is booking fast, just kidding we’re in the middle of a pandemic and everything has been rescheduled for 2021. SO for the first time ever, I am accepting engagement shoots on weekends! Typically weekends are reserved for weddings and elopements - so get your date on the calendar now!

Hi, I'm Kimberly 👋

Colorado elopement photographer, snack enthusiast, and your personal hype woman for ditching the traditional wedding entirely.

I spend most of my time wandering dirt roads around Crested Butte, the San Juans, and Denver finding the kind of spots that make you forget what stress even feels like. You know — the ones with the views that hit different at sunrise, where the wildflowers are doing too much, and the only witnesses are a couple of marmots and your dog in a tiny bandana.

If you're dreaming of vows somewhere wildly beautiful with zero seating charts involved, hi. That's literally what I do. You bring the love story. I'll bring the camera, the location ideas, and enough snacks to get us through golden hour.
