De Beque Engagement Photos with Chloe and Brendan

Ahhh, y’all I am so excited to share these photos with you! Back in like 2017, my partner and I met up with some of my coworkers in the foot hills of Boulder. There was a couple there taking time lapses of the canyons (the lighting was SO incredible that evening) and so I walked over to them and introduced myself! I’m pretty sure I was SUPER awkward because I wanted to take a photo of them together, but also didn’t know what their relationship was like, so I think I said something ridiculous like “You guys are together right? You’re not like brother and sister?”. Oh my godddd could I be anymore awkward haha.

LONG STORY SHORT, they are the incredible photo and video duo behind Oak & Pine! They had just moved to Boulder, completely accepted my awkwardness, and we started to hang out and camp together, a lot!!

Brendan FINALLY (lol jk) engaged after they had been together for like, ever. Right before they moved back to the east coast (Massachusetts!), they came out to Grand Junction where I was able to get some engagement photos for them.

If you’re ever looking for an incredibly thoughtful, and talented photo & videographer duo on the east coast, I can’t recommend Brendan and Chloe of Oak & Pine enough! They are so personable and you could literally become best friends with them after meeting them on the side of a mountain. :)

Hi, I'm Kimberly 👋

Colorado elopement photographer, snack enthusiast, and your personal hype woman for ditching the traditional wedding entirely.

I spend most of my time wandering dirt roads around Crested Butte, the San Juans, and Denver finding the kind of spots that make you forget what stress even feels like. You know — the ones with the views that hit different at sunrise, where the wildflowers are doing too much, and the only witnesses are a couple of marmots and your dog in a tiny bandana.

If you're dreaming of vows somewhere wildly beautiful with zero seating charts involved, hi. That's literally what I do. You bring the love story. I'll bring the camera, the location ideas, and enough snacks to get us through golden hour.
